Oh boy. Well, what a series of years we’ve been having, am i right? Well I don’t know about you but the lockdowns and COVID in general making it socially acceptable to avoid people has afforded me so much time to do the things I’ve been meaning to do for years. I’ve been letting the FOSS related stuff take a back seat to indulging in more creative and artistic things. I picked up a MIDI keyboard, an MPC and various DAWS and for the past 3 months I’ve been having the most fun I’ve ever had being terrible at something.
I built a homelab for learning VMware that I want to have internet access. My ISP router is in a different room on the other side of the house. Far enough that running a cable is a hassle but right in range for a wifi bridge.
I will never understand why Mr. Raspberry Pi, on whatever fateful day was assigned to give final OK to the various RPi bits before release allowed this to happen. To imagine that the gentleman/and/or/woman walked through that factory, probably twirling a cane made from the bones of a Middle Triassic Phytosaur, deeply inspected the Rpi case and didnt immediately have his heads of product design team arrest for crimes against humanity. Look at this. No, look at this. It’s chaos. Pure chaos. Input’s on two sides? On multiple axis? Unsupportable.
Note to self LC_CTYPE=”POSIX” with ZSH is a bad idea and will result in distorted autocomplete results.
I skimmed over a handful of threads and a handful of post, on the letsencrypt forums on how to do this after comping across a different answer per thread i just did what seemed the intuitive way. If you have input by all means feel free to shoot me an email.
